November 22, 1945 Funeral services for Moody Martin Shirey, 71, of Kaufman, who died in a Dallas hospital Sunday, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the First Baptist Church in Malakoff. Surviving are three daughters, Miss Lucille Shirey, Mrs. M.I. Oliver, Dallas and Mrs. J.G. Fowler of Corsicana; three sons, Justin H. Shirey of Dallas, Grady M. Shirey of Kaufman and Cecil E. Shirey of Tyler; two brothers, J.M. Shirey of Needles, California and R.K. Shirey of Winfield, Alabama; and two sisters, Mrs. Wade Patrick of Memphis, Texas and Mrs. A.J. Perkins of Mineola.
