Christy Willenborg Blalock Memorial services for Christy Willenborg Blalock, 40, of Sweetwater, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bruce Parsons officiating. Blalock died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at Hendrick Medical Center. Blalock was born Sept. 24, 1968, in Tarrant County and married Dale Blalock April 28, 2006, in Sweetwater. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Dale Blalock of Sweetwater; her mother, Margaret Landess of Kennedale; one son, Danny Wayne Blalock of Austin; two daughters, Valerie Rivera and husband Nicholas of Fort Worth and Jennifer Blalock of Seattle, Wash.; three grandchildren, including Devin Newton of Fort Worth; two brothers, David Crow of Arlington and Gary Willenborg of Burleson; two sisters, Jackie Tilley of Granbury and Tina Walker of Tishomingo, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
