Hugh Wayne Rich, 84, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel in Fort Worth. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Hugh was born Sept. 11, 1923, in Fort Worth to the late Jim and Zola Rich. Hugh served in the 801st Engineer Aviation Battalion in World War II from 1943 to 1946. Hugh was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson. Hugh was preceded in death by his brother, Basil Rich, and sister-in-law, Jo Helen. Survivors: Wife, Edith Rich; daughters, Teresa Howe and husband, Richard, and Jackie Kubiak and husband, Kenneth; son, Harold Wayne Rich; grandchildren, James Scott Rich, Traci Gordon, Rick Howe, Kristi Howe and Kendra Kubiak Lin; six great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
