~~~~~~~~~~ W. E. Ragland, 77, Passes; Funeral Rites Friday William Edward Ragland, 77, died at 1:30 a.m. today at his home on the Manson Road. Funeral rites have been set for 10:30 a.m. Friday, with the Reverend Willard H. Blue, pastor of the First Methodist church, in charge, and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery under supervision of Woodfin and Moore. Mr. Ragland had lived in Rutherford county for the past several years. He came here from Jackson county, Tennessee, where he was a prominent farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosa Lee Ragland, two daughters, Rosa Lee and Annie Lou, of Murfreesboro; six sons, Allen and H. H. Ragland of Nashville, Will and Tom Ragland of Chattanooga, Harvey, of Birmingham, Ala., and Butler, of Huntsville, Ala., and three sisters, Mrs. E. H. Boyd of Cookeville; Mrs. T. G. Dillon of Campbellsville, Ky., and Miss Nannie Ragland of Carthage. Pallbearers will be: Ernest Smith, Robert Groom, Ellis Gray, R. T.
