Don Houston, age 69, died Dec. 27, 1987. He was born Jan. 24, 1918 in Boswell, Ok. and moved to Midwest City in 1950. He was a WWII veteran and while employed at Tinker AFB as an aircraft electrician he was repeatedly cited for the outstanding work he and his crew did on special projects all over the country, one of those being the work he did on President Eisenhour's plane. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Myrtle and John Richesin; his sister, Bessie and his beloved wife, Edith. He is survived by his only daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Don Harris, and their children, Kaylyn Dawn, John David, Robert, Brandon, Christi, Brian and Brad; his only brother and sister-in-law, Hayden and Elma Richesin, Victorville, Ca. and the ir 5 daughers, Phyllis, Glenda, Donna, Swan and Colleen; his only sister's children are John David and Doris Helen and their children. He was a member of Howard Memorial Baptist Church, where he participated in the Hospital Ministry and Jolly Elders, which was his joy and for several years, he distributed tracts to the Midwest City Hospital. Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 10am in the Chapel of Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home. Interment will be at Arlington Memory Gardens, MWC. He will be loved and missed by all those he left behind. ∼ Son of John Houston & Myrtle (Clifton) Richesin ∼ Added May 25, 2022 He changed his name from Richesin to Richardson.
