Janette Simmons of Amarillo died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Llano Cemetery with Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. Mrs. Simmons was a very loving giving person who loved football. She will be missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Kenny Simmons; a son, Ray Simmons of Mobile, Ala.; three daughters, Julia Austin and Stephanie James, both of Amarillo, and Valarie Stone of Phoenix; and six grandchildren.
