Thanks to contributor #47226369; Henry Gawrych, Jr. Died Last Thursday Henry Gawrych, Jr., young son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gawrych, passed away at 7 o'clock Thursday morning at the Loup City hospital after an illness of less than two weeks caused from a mastoid. The death of the four year old lad was a great shock to everyone. Henry Gawrych, Jr. was born November 1, 1934 in Ashton vicinity and passed away January 26, 1939 at the age of 4 years, 2 months and 25 days. He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, one sister, Irene age 6 and one brother, Daniel aged 6 months. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 30, at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Francis church in Ashton. Rev. A. Jarzemski was in charge of the services. The child was laid to rest in the St. Francis cemetery. The Sherman County Times - Feb 2 1939
