Born May 26, 1856 in Sterling, Illinois and passed on Aug. 1, 1918 in Fullerton, Nebraska. He passed away at his home after an extended illness. He was 62 Years, 2 months and 5 days old. When he was a child he moved with his parents to Medicine, Minnesota where he grew to manhood. In 1876 he moved to Nebraska and two years later he married Nancy Richards. To this union were born 10 children - 9 of whom are still living One having died at the age of 5 years. Besides his wife - he leaves to mourn his death: Daughters: Mrs. Daniel Shively of Sumner, Ne Mrs. Franklin Gay of Palmer Mrs. Thomas Powers of O'Neill Mrs. John Rock of Mullen, Ne Hazel Sowl at home Sons: Fred A.
