Obituary from Post Register (Idaho Falls, ID) - September 26, 1980: Wilford Woodruff Roberts, 85, of Gilson died at a Pocatello hospital Wednesday of emphysema. He was born April 13, 1895 in Grove Hill, Alabama. He attended schools in Chesterfield. On June 2, 1917 he married Margaret Hofhine in Blackfoot. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple in 1931. They lived in Pocatello and moved to Gibson in 1940. He was car man for the Pacific Fruit Express for 35 years, retiring in 1960. He also farmed. He was an Elder in the LDS Church and a member of the Riverton Ward where he served as a ward teacher. He is survived by his wife of Gibson; three sons, Darwin of American Falls, Frank of Kearns, Utah, and John D., of Gibson; three daughters, Mrs. Wanda Barbre and Mrs. Robert (Wylene) Van Vleck, both of Pocatello, and Mrs. Eddie (Bonnie) May of Omaha; 27 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Geneva Bowers of Mesa, Arizona.
