Private, Company I, 6th Regiment, Mississippi Infantry, CSA Member Newbern Masonic Lodge No. 97 at Pleasant Grove Husband of Charlotte Price Webb Father of 7 children, including these listed in censuses, with approximate birth dates: Robert G. (1860), David A. (1864), Steven B. (1866), John (1868), N. B. (dgtr, 1873), Emma Lee Webb Freeman (July 16, 1876) David Webb married Charlotte Price on September 30, 1857, in Rankin County, Mississippi. D. B. Webb enlisted October 25, 1862 as Private, Company I, 6th Regiment, Mississippi Infantry, CSA. This Regiment was consolidated with the 14th Regiment, Mississippi Infantry, and the 43rd Regiment, Mississippi Infantry to form the 14th Consolidated Mississippi, Infantry, CSA. Private D. B. Webb was paroled at Greensboro, North Carolina after April 26, 1865. The David B. Webb family moved to Texas from Mississippi sometime after 1880. "Uncle Dave" Webb died at his home in the Rainsville community following a brief illness. He was buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Masonic honors.
