Bio

Aged 56y 11m 13d ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ While raking of the garden lot in the rear of his home at North Grand avenue and Bond street yesterday morning and talking to a man about repairing a house, Daniel Gallaher was stricken with heart failure and died before the arrival of a physician. He had been suffering from acute stomach trouble from an injury sustained by working over a well for some time and it is thought this was instrumental in causing his death. He was sixty years old and for several years had been engaged in various sorts of labor. Surviving him are five children, Fred Gallagher [sic], who underwent an operation at St. John's hospital as the result of being crushed, and Beulah, Ray, Elsie and Leona Gallaher.
