Bio

She was 97 years old and she died at home. She moved from Alabama to Winter Haven in the year of 1920 and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eagle Lake Civic League and the Eagle Lake Garden Club. She was a member of the First Babtist Church of Eagle Lake. She was the wife of Andrew Jackson Denton and mother of Leon Denton, Carson Denton, Louise Robinette. The sister of W.D. Grubbs, Otis Grubbs and Lodis Dean. She was the aunt of Buddy Denton, Kathleen Denton Parker, Calvin Pittman, plus many other nieces and nephews. She had 8 grand, 12 great-grand and 2 great-great grandchildren at the time of her death.
