Effie Rae Wood left her pain in this world when she drew her last breath at Good Shepherd Medical Center around 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Funeral services for Ms. Wood, 78,of Longview, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2008, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with David Bishop and Johnny Sapp officiating, and attended by her grandson pallbearers. Graveside services will follow in Rosewood Park, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Ms. Wood, born September 28, 1929, in Shamrock, was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Pete Fine; a grandson, Brett Guest; and a great-grandson, Dane Guest. Granny Rae is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother; mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend by her surviving children, Nancy Fine Tomlinson of Longview, Katy "Barbara" Fine Ramirez of Longview, Susie Fine Fuller of Longview, Johnny Sapp of Pittsburg, Starla Sapp Bishop of Little Rock, Ark., and Wally Sapp of Longview: her precious surviving grandchildren, Raymond Guest of Longview, Kim Harper of Shreveport, La., Gina Guest of Tempe, Ariz., Matt Haynes of Pottstown, Pa., Michael Fuller of Longview, Daniel Haynes of Dallas, John Sapp of Longview, Joshua Bishop of Little Rock, Ark., Rachel Sapp of Longview, Ashley Sapp of Longview, Jamie Cook of Mount Pleasant, Emily Lloyd of Mount Pleasant,; Chelsi Chambliss of Mount Pleasant, Amber Sapp of Dallas, Rebekah Bishop of Hot Springs, Ark., Mance Fine of Longview, and Hannah Bishop of Little Rock, Ark.: her plethora of great-grandchildren; her surviving sons /daughters-in-law, Clyde Tomlinson of Longview, Steve Fuller of Longview, Gregg Ramirez of Longview, David Bishop of Little Rock, Ark., Cheri Sapp of Pittsburg, and Judi Fine of Longview; and by her two surviving siblings and their children.
