Jennie Josephine Norman Hallam Allen, age 92, died on September 5, 2008 in St. George, Utah. She resided at 55 West Smith Lane (500 South) in Pleasant Grove, Utah at the time of her death. She was born on July 7, 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George A. Norman and Emily Theodora Hanson. She married Glenn C. Hallam on July 28, 1941, later divorced. She then married Floyd Allen. Jennie served in many positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a temple worker in the Mount Timpanogos Temple for many years. She loved the people she worked with. She crocheted afghans for her family and family reunions. She loved dancing and bowling with friends and family. She is survived by sons: David Glenn Hallam (Colleen) of St. George, Utah; George Hallam (Sharon) of Eagle Mountain, Utah; 14 grandchildren, 41 great-grand-children, one great-great-grand-child, one sister, Dorothy Jasperson, Payson, Utah. and many nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Donna Norman. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her son Johnny Hallam; sisters, Emily Gustavson, Elva Norman, Georgia Wilson; brothers, William Norman, Victor Norman and Walter Norman; grand-daughters, Peggy Tatom, Stephnie and Stacey Hallam; grandson, Rusty Hallam. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Stake Center, 275 East 500 South, Pleasant Grove, Utah. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Olpin Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah. and from 1-2 p.m. prior to the services. Interment at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah. Published in the Deseret News on 9/9/2008.
