Carol Uhl Known grandchildren are: Paul Frazier Swenk Jr. Karen Swenk James Swenk Bruce Swenk Duane Swenk Kevin Swenk --------- Obituary is published in The Milford Mail, 04-22-1937. --------- WPA Iowa Note ; ****Wrong birth & death year**** --------- One of Hilda's favorite recipe: Lace Cookies 2 1/2 cups of uncooked oatmeal 2 egg (whites & yolks seperated) 1 rounded tabelspoon of butter 1 tabelspoon of vanilla 2 level teaspoons of baking powder 1 pinch of salt 1 cup of sugar Cream suger and butter together, add yolks of eggs, vanilla, salt and oatmeal, mixed with baking powder. Mix all well together, then add the beaten egg whites last. Drop on buttered greased tins. ---------
