J. T. Goodnight Dies; Funeral At Thorndale Today (Died 16 JAN 1947) HOLLAND, Jan. 16. – J.T. Goodnight, former Holland resident for many years, died at his home in Thorndale Sunday at 11 am of a heart attack. He was born here in 1878, and lived most of his life here. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Mary Anderson, and daughter, Mrs J. C. Fournier of San Antonio, and a sister, Mrs. John Markham of Holland. Funeral services will be held at Thorndale church at 2 pm Monday, and burial will be at Holland Cemetery. Note from Lanita MURRY: There is an error here. Mrs. John (Inez) Markham was J. Tom Goodnight's wife's sister. This is "Tom" son of James Albertson Goodnight and unknown 1st wife only known as "M.E.".
