Bio

Lola Frances Floyd Eads-Owens, 36 years of age, of Pulaski County, Kentucky departed this life on February 18th, 1935. Lola was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on September 25th, 1898, daughter of John James Floyd and Mary Elizabeth Price Floyd. Lola was survived by her parents, John James Floyd and Mary Elizabeth Floyd; one son by her first marriage, Virtree Eads; one daughter by her first marriage, Valeree; two sons by her second marriage, Louis Owens and James Owens; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Sheridan Sherrod "Shird" Eads, whom she married on January 19th 1920 and who departed this life on December 5th, 1924; and her second husband, Arland Owens, who departed this life on July 3rd, 1931. Burial was in the Cedar Point Cemetery in Ingle, Kentucky. THIS IS A TRIBUTE IN MEMORY OF LOLA, If you could see me now you wouldn't shed a tear, Though you may not understand why I'm no longer there. Remember my spirit, that is the real me because I'm still very much alive, I've just been set free. Oh, if you could only see! I have held our Father's face and I've touched my Savior's hand. All of Heaven's angels rejoiced as I entered the promised land. Beyond the gates of pearl I've walked on the golden streets. I've touched the walls of jasper and dipped my foot in the crystal sea. The beauty is beyond words and nothing could compare, I've even seen our Lords mansion and someday I'll meet you there. Let Jesus be your guide because "His Word" will show you the way. So please don't cry because we will meet again someday.
