Groteluschen, 95, died Friday, July 21, 1995, at Columbus Manor. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gass-Haney Funeral Chapel in Columbus with the Rev. Douglas R. Zurek officiating. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 2-9 p.m. Monday and 8:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, with a 10:15 a.m. family prayer service, at the funeral home. Mrs. Groteluschen was born July 1, 1900, in rural Leigh to Johann H. and Bertha (Lusche) Muhle. She attended school in Leigh. She married Douglas Groteluschen Jan. 2, 1923, at Shell Creek Lutheran Church and moved to Columbus in 1938. She worked at Dale Electronics Inc. and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sons, Marion of St. Paul and Douglas of Lincoln; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Elmer Muhle of Schuyler. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, seven brothers and two sisters.
