A. A. Carrigan, 82, passed away Friday, Oct. 27, at his home among his family. He was born May 6, 1913, to James Alfred and Alcy Elizabeth Carrigan in Proctor, Texas. On Jan. 12, 1932, he married Linnie L. Patterson, his companion for the rest of his life. A. A. spent his younger days as a farmer and rancher in Texas, but most of his years were spent as a pipeline supervisor working through the United States. He later became president of Cimmarron Pipeline, Inc. out of Drumtight, Okla. until his retirement in 1974. He received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy after his service during World War II. A. A. and Linnie retired to Sallisaw, Okla. until relocating to Missoula last year. Survivors include his wife, Linnie, a son, Al, and grandchildren Shannon and Austin. His older sister, Gertrude Bobo, is living in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral services will be held on 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A reception following the committal services will be held at the funeral home's community room. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Garden City Funeral Home and Chapel.
