Peggy Garrison Whisenant Parrish, 81, a retired secretary, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, at home. Funeral: Noon Tuesday in Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery. She was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Aubrey, the daughter of John David and Mamie Garrison. She retired from the city of San Bernardino, Calif., Water Department. Survivors: Son, Richard Whisenant and wife, Sandy, of Fort Worth; daughters, Linda Parrish of Fort Worth, Rita Stone and husband, Shorty, of Waco and Irene Drummond of Waco; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
