Corsicana (TX) Daily Sun, Feb 4, 1968 : TOM POWERS, 85, of Deckard, Tennessee died Saturday morning. Funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Corley Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ben Marney, pastor of Wesley Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Survivors : A daughter, Mrs. Lucille Trlica of Dallas ; three grandsons ; two great grandsons & three great great grandchildren. ; a sister, Mrs. Lelia Edwards of Bellbuckle, Tennessee. Son of William Henderson Powers (1847- 1916) and Mary Ann (Colston) Powers (1850-1932)
