Bio

Funeral services for Jessie Marvin Bostic, 80, of Denton were held Monday at Full Gospel Assembly of God Church with the Reverend Jackie Howard officiating. Burial was in Belew Cemetery. Mr. Bostic died Saturday at a Snyder nursing home. He was born June 8, 1894 in Enterprise, Alabama. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Norred of Snyder, two son, Jessie Franklin Bostic and Edwin Dewayne Bostic, both of Midland; four sisters, Myrtle Anderson, Winnie Dennis, Willie Gregory, all of Denton and Texia Love of Aubrey; one brother Ruffus Bostic of Denton; seven grandchildren and on great grandchild. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Pemberton Funeral Home in Aubrey was in charge of arrangements. Denton Record Chronicle, Monday, December 23, 1974
