Randy Odell Sawyer, 63, of Alderson, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Randy was born on February 16, 1962 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Gilbert Sawyer and Lynn (Williams) Sawyer. He married Tammy Sawyer on June 4, 2003, and she preceded him in death on October 31, 2023. He is survived by children: Mandy Sawyer, Harmonie Sawyer, Brian Sawyer and wife, Sable, and Terra Kirby and husband, Peter; stepchildren: Meladie Casey and husband, Michael, Chasidy Washington, and Heather Becker and husband, Brian; grandchildren: Theo Martinez, Malorie Bennett and husband, Glen, Madison Casey, Leah Becker, Lily Becker, Olivia Sawyer, Hannah Sawyer, McKenzie Kirby, and Daniel Kirby; brothers: Thomas Hansen, Terry Sawyer and wife, Shelli, and Jerry Sawyer and wife, Staci; sister, Sandra Banks; brother-in-law, Bob Hall and other family and friends. Randy is preceded in death by his wife, Tammy; sister, Anita Hall; brother-in-law, Ed Banks; his grandmother, Susan Ellen Williams; father, Gilbert Sawyer; and mother, Lynn (Williams) Nelson. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the First United Methodist Church, McAlester, Oklahoma.
