Bio
The following was written by the creator of the memorial, Sandy Bomar: "My Uncle "P.J." as he was called by most of the family was the son of William M Slaydon and Ethel McCarroll and husband to my Aunt Lou "Mary Louise Bond" and father to Ethel Marie and Mary Lou. Grandfather to many." The following Information from the Slaton Slatton Slayden Project was added December 12, 2025: His father is also seen as William Ellis Slaydon and William L. Slaydon. The initial "M" appears in documents but is unexplained by descendants. The Ellis was thought by descendants to be after his maternal grandfather, Ellis Tucker. Peter Jackson Slaydon married 2) Agnes Martha Morrissey on 21 Sep 1952 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California. They apparently divorced or the marriage was annulled, as she married her fourth husband other as surnamed for second husband. No children are suspected from this marriage.
