Jacqueline Carol Groves was born on April 8, 1930, in Houston, TX. She was the first child of Jack Vann Groves and Felecia Delight Beckwith Groves. On Dec 10, 2025, Jacqueline Carol Shaffer Koenig passed away. She was 95 years old. She is survived by her sons, Chuck and David; her grandchildren, David, Jr. and Kristi; 3 great grandsons, Vaun, Miles, and Richie; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husbands, Charles E. Shaffer (died 1981) and Charles E. Koenig (died 2012), and by her parents, Jack and Delight, as well as her stepfather, Paul Rogers. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Bay City, TX.
