Francis A. Reddick Passes Sunday Francis A. (Red) Reddick passed away at his home Sunday 15, after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock p.m. Wednesday, May 18 in the Tillery Chapel with the Rev. J.E. Jackson, officiating. Soloist was Mrs. Cecil Martin and Mrs. Jack Burrell was the accompanist. Francis A. (Red) Reddick, son of Francis and Adaline Reddick was born August 1 1893 in Barada, Nebraska and departed this life (suddenly) at his home in Flemington, MO. Sunday morning 12:01 a.m. May 15, 1966 after an illness of five years. He was 72 years, 9 months, and 14 days old. He was united in marriage to Mary Beaty in the year 1919. She proceeded him in death January 19, 1960. A resident of Flemington the past eight years, veteran of World War I; member of the Flemington Baptist Church and the IOOF and Masonic Lodges. April 10, 1961 he was united in marriage to Carrie Alice Wortham in Miami OKLA. A retired carpenter, fishing was his hobby, which he enjoyed immensely up to a few days previous to his passing. Surviving is his wife, Carrie of the home; three half sisters, Mrs. Alpha Jolliffe, Mrs. Ethel Henninger of Oskaloosa, Kan.; a half brother Bert Williamson of Sand Point, Alaska, other relatives, nephews, nieces and a host of friends. Pallbearers were Alpha Pitts, John Bowers, Todd McBride, Gene Durnell, Moore Jones and John Henry. Interment was in the Alder Cemetery under the directions of the Tillery Funeral Home.
