Bio

Jean Ann Kerrigan Obituary Jean Ann Kerrigan, 81, of Port Huron, peacefully left this earth on Christmas Eve to celebrate Christmas in the presence of our Heavenly Father. As she celebrated Christmas in heaven, Jean was reunited with her parents, Emet and Phyllis Flasher; her brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Flasher; her son James; and four infant children who preceded her in death. She passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side. We will always remember our mom for the deep love she had for her family and her lifelong willingness to sacrifice for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. When she wasn't spending time with family, Jean enjoyed bingo nights and doing puzzles with her friends. We were truly blessed to have Jean as our mom, and we take comfort in knowing that this Christmas she is in a better place—reunited with loved ones and free from worldly pain. We love you, Mom, and we know you are making heaven a better place for all of us. Jean is survived by seven of her children: John Kerrigan, Mark Kerrigan, Michael (Lynn) Kerrigan, Kevin (Aleisha) Kerrigan, Patrick Kerrigan, Brian (Alison) Kerrigan, and Kelly (Kevin) Darty; her grandchildren: Ashley, Crystal, Gunnar, Douglas, Brannon, Taylor, Nena, Kevin, Morgan, J.L., Matt, Kyle, Kaylee, Alex, Jacob, Mikayla, James, Justin, and Mackenzie; her great-grandchildren: Blakelynn, Jack, and Nora; her sisters: Phyllis Flasher, Carolyn (Gerald) Shekoski, Esther Flasher, and Theresa (Robert) Froberg; her brother John (Sue) Flasher; her sister-in-law Lisa Flasher; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Life Celebration Center, 4521 Ravenswood Road, Kimball Township. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Port Huron on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Jean will be laid to rest at St. Peter's Cemetery in Clinton Township alongside her son James, her parents Emet and Phyllis Flasher, her nephew Thomas Emerick, and numerous other family members.
