Memorial service for Donna M. Pozehl, 83, of Norfolk will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the services. Inurnment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in York, NE following the luncheon. Donna passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Stanton Health Center in Stanton, NE. Donna was born on April 10, 1942 to William Howard and Martha (Bergan) Critel on a farm in York County. She attended Thayer High School and graduated in 1960. She then attended Lincoln School of Commerce in Lincoln, NE, before receiving her bachelor's degree in Counseling from Doane College in 1998. Donna married Roger Otto Pozehl on July 22, 1962 in York, NE. To this union, two children were born, Lynn and Lisa. The two would later divorce. Donna worked as a secretary and office manager at Coldwell Banker Town and Country Realty for 11 years. She also worked as a Hotel Manager, did clerical jobs, and worked for NelNet. However, she found the most joy in being an artist. She was a member of St. Lukes United Methodist Church in Lincoln, NE, and she also was the president of the Lincoln Artist Guild. She enjoyed cake decorating, fishing, painting, crafting, going to the casino, having garage sales, and working on puzzles. Her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren. She loved doing activities with them and doing paintings of them. Donna is survived by her children Lisa (Scott) Sisson, of Norfolk, NE and Lynn Pozehl of Omaha, NE. Grandchildren Brian Pozehl of Lincoln, NE, Amanda (Kraig) Shaw of Martell, NE, Sean Pozehl of Lincoln, NE, and Kylie Sisson of San Marcos, TX. Donna's siblings Darlene (David) McCord of Omaha, NE, Dexter (Sandra) Critel of Valley, NE, Delbert (Meriya) Critel of Tampa, FL, Delaine (Stanley) Goeke of York, NE, and Dina (Bradley) Rathje of Utica, NE, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha Critel, grandparents, aunts and uncles, nephew Aaron Rathje, and best friend Alice Hoff.
