Ruth Hoffman Wednesday, May 4th, 1927 – Saturday, December 6th, 2025 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ruth (Dick) Hoffman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt passed away on December 6, 2025 at the age of 98 in Dallas, Oregon. Born on May 4,1927 in Munich, North Dakota, she lived an amazing life filled with love, serving others, and an unwavering dedication to her Lord and her family. For 50 years she was married to her devoted husband, Donald who passed in 1998. Together they raised 3 children, who carry forth her legacy of kindness and compassion to others: Doug Hoffman (wife Marcy) of Gold Canyon, AZ; Bryan Hoffman (wife Barb) of Corvallis, OR, and daughter, Pam Towry (predeceased by her husband Dave) of Salem, OR. Ruth's family continued to grow and thrive under her nurturing spirit, leaving her 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren who adored her. Ruth grew up in Munich, North Dakota. After high school she completed nurse's training in Beatrice, Nebraska. She came back to Munich and married Donald in 1948. In 1952 they moved to Dallas, Oregon where she started her nursing career at the Dallas Hospital. Soon after she was offered a job as a nurse in Dr Charles and Casey's office and worked there for 37 years. She lived her life, not only serving her family, but also others. She was a Sunday School teacher and always reached out to people in need around her to the very end of her life. She loved the Lord Jesus who was always at the center of everything she did. Ruth's generous and vibrant spirit will be missed by all. Ruth's Celebration of Life will be held on January 10th, 1:00 p.m., at Dallas Retirement Village, Cascades Commons, 249 NW Jasper, Dallas, OR.
