Bio

Brady James Reichmuth, 39, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Born February 2, 1986, in Garden City, Kansas, to Bruce and Patricia Reichmuth, Brady graduated from Garden City High School and began his college years at Friends University, where he excelled as a starting cornerback on the football team and sang with the Singing Quakers. He later transferred to Wichita State University, earning a degree in mechanical engineering. At WSU he was an active member of Phi Delta Theta, and it was at the fraternity's summer volleyball events where he met the love of his life, Frances. After graduating in 2009, Brady joined Bombardier, serving in roles including Senior Mechanical Engineer and, most recently, Project Manager. Brady was a devoted friend, son, uncle, dog dad, and husband who loved traveling, cooking, and (sometimes frustratingly) cheering for Nebraska Cornhuskers football. His favorite pastime was golf – whether on the course or at the range, watching tournaments on TV, or attending in person (including his annual visit to the Wichita Open), Brady was rarely far from a tee box or green. He lived his life as the perfect host. It wasn't just that he could turn an ordinary Tuesday into a memorable hang out – grill going, music bouncing off the walls, and the family dog Toby at his feet knowing an ice cube or piece of meat would miraculously fall from Brady's hand onto the floor. It was also how considerate, kind, and dependable he was to neighbors, friends, and others. He never tried to be the center of attention, preferring to be the one who facilitated fun, asked questions, listened, remembered, and followed up. Brady's humor was light and warm, never at anyone's expense. He paired that joy with thoughtfulness – checking in after a tough week, celebrating wins, and finding ways to lighten the load by being the first to volunteer and the last to leave. He will be greatly missed. Brady is survived by his wife, Frances Reichmuth (Doll); his parents, Bruce and Patricia; his siblings, Ben (Michele) Reichmuth, Elizabeth (Dustin McMichael) Reichmuth, Margaret (Bret) Tiller, Robin (Blake) Stocking, Blake (Julia Larsen) Reichmuth; and his nieces and nephews, Crystal Reichmuth, Zachary Case, Rye Tiller, Kaitlyn Hardesty, Greer Tiller, Jencie Stocking, and Jorlee Stocking. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Simon Robert and Maria Chaulk, and Alvin and Donnette Reichmuth. A service to celebrate Brady's life will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 7901 West 21st Street, Wichita, KS 67205.
