Gregory Lee Znamenacek, 75, of Lincoln, died November 28, 2025 in Lincoln. He was born in Lincoln on February 10, 1950 to Merlyn & Virginia (Wilson) Znamenacek. Lived in Crete, Nebraska with his parents before his family moved to Lincoln and was a graduate of Lincoln Southeast High School in 1969. Greg married Marsha Barton in 1980 and gained 2 loving stepsons, Matt & Nick Tyler. To this union a son, Mason Miles Znamenacek was born on September 18, 1983. Greg was a respected masonry contractor. He was the owner/operator of Zymco for many years. His greatest hobby was sailing and he loved being a grandpa to his precious grandsons Brooks, born on January 7, 2019 and Quinn, born on July 14, 2021. On November 15, 2003, he married Karen Salmonson Cole and gained 2 more loving stepsons, Scott & Brian Cole. Survived by his wife Karen; son Mason (Ashlee); grandsons Brooks & Quinn; siblings Sherry Elsner, Dan Znamenacek, Deb (Joe) Roberts, & Linda (Mark Nelson) Vogel; stepsons Matt (Heather Talbot) Tyler, Nick (Crystal) Tyler, Scott Cole, & Brian Cole; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents. Celebration of Life services will be 11 am Tuesday at Sheridan Lutheran Church, Lincoln.
