Jerry L. Cooley July 27, 1956 - November 27, 2025 Jerry L. Cooley was born July 27, 1956, and passed away November 27, 2025, at the age of 69. Jerry was loving, hardworking and a friendly man who never shied away from speaking his mind. His hardheaded spirit, paired with his big heart, made him unforgettable to everyone who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Teresa Cooley; children, Paul Parker and wife LeAnne, Brandon Marcantel and wife Kay, and Jason Cooley and wife Trisha; grandchildren, Blaine, Troy, Kade, Jade, Richard, Colton, Caleb, Hunter, Leo, Brently, Jameson, and Anakin; great granddaughter, Jocelyn; sisters, Regina Jackson and Alicia Thompson; and brother, Glyn Cooley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Ouida Cooley; sister, Patricia Cooley; and brothers, Reggie Cooley and Brandon Cooley. Family will receive friends from 3:00 ~ 8:00 p.m., Monday December 1, 2025, with a funeral service being held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday December 2, 2025, at The First United Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy, 230 Smith Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Interment to follow at Newlin Cemetery, Singer, Louisiana. Pastor Carlton Jackson Jr. and Rev. Brad Johnson will be officiating.
