Laura Ruth Frakes Dixon, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, TN, died Friday, Jul. 11, 2008, at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a member of Deerfield Baptist Church, a native of Waynesboro, TN, and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lem and Ivarene Lee Frakes. She is survived by her husband, Charles Dixon of Lawrenceburg, TN; Two daughters, Nelda Dixon of Lawrenceburg, TN and Nancy Rohling, husband, Royce, of Chattanooga, TN. Two granddaughters, Amy Mortimer of Chattanooga, TN and Beth Rohling of Chattanooga, TN. Funeral service were held at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, Jul. 13, 2008, with Tony Gordy officiating. Interment was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Neal Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, TN, was in charge of arrangements.
