F. Don Hymer GILMER - Services for F. Don Hymer, 64, of Gilmer will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with the Revs Gene Lee and Charles Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery. Mr. Hymer died Wednesday in a Shreveport hospital after a short illness. Mr. Hymer was born Oct. 18, 1926, in Upshur County and lived there most of his life. He married Clynn [sic] Hill on Oct. 25, 1946, in Rosewood. He was a minister, a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Pittsburg and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include wife, Glynn Hill; son, Donny of Springhill, La.; daughters, Kay Newland of Alba and Rita Ray of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Deann, James, Lauren and and Wesley; brother, Francis of Gilmer; and sisters, Florence Johnson and Zella Johnson, both of Gilmer.
