T.J. "Red" Gosdin, 80, of Glen Rose passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, in Glen Rose. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Glen Rose. Interment: White Church Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wiley Funeral Home. Mr. Gosdin was born Nov. 18, 1927, in Glen Rose. He was a lifelong Somervell County resident and a member of Brazos Point Baptist Church. Mr. Gosdin retired from the Trinity Cleburne Plant of the LaForge Company after 42 years of employment. Mr. Gosdin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Louise Gosdin in 2001; and a brother, J.B. Gosdin of Glen Rose. Survivors, Son, Terry Wayne Gosdin and wife, Robin, of Glen Rose; daughter, Teresa Mallonee' and husband, James, of Walnut Springs; grandchildren, Jacob Gosdin, Ben Trimble and wife, Heather, Wendie Rambo and husband, Bo, and J.T. Mallonee'; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Willie Fox and husband, Earl, of Granbury; and sisters-in-law, Veda Gosdin of Rainbow and Theda Roark and her husband, Curtis, of Houston.
