Mildred Irene Dillman Lewiston Morning Tribune Millie I. Kennedy, 89, Deary Thursday, September 21, 2000 Millie Irene Kennedy, a lifelong Deary area resident, died Wednesday morning, Sept. 21, 2000, at Moscow Care Center. She was 89. Millie was born Aug. 31, 1911, at Moscow to Will and Polly May Gustin Dillman. She grew up and attended school at Helmer and Deary. She married Ora Rodrick and later divorced. She was married to Alvie Kennedy in Moscow on Nov. 22, 1946. She lived in Deary most of her life and in Lewiston for a time until Mr. Kennedy died in August 1977 when she returned to Deary. She enjoyed making quilts, fishing, visiting family and friends and picking huckleberries. Surviving are a son, Gene Rodrick in McMinnville, Ore.; two daughters, Verla May Olson and Donna Marie Bailey, both of Deary; and one sister, Lillie May Lyons of Orofino. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Pinecrest Cemetery in Deary.
