AKERS Frank Milton, 88, passed away on Feb. 21, 1992. Mr. Akers was born March 13, 1903, in Dallas and moved to Oklahoma City, OK in May of 1949. Frank made newspaper circulation his career at Dallas Morning News from '29-'49, and continued at the Oklahoma Publishing Co. from '49-'68. He was married to Ella Virginia Broyles Aug. 10, 1925, in Dallas, TX and later married Golela Henry on Aug. 8, 1972 in Gainsville, TX. Frank is survived by his wife, Golela Akers of OKC, 4 daughters, Elizabeth Cleifman, Reynolds, IN, Virginia Tabor, Clarendon Hills, IL, Judith Ann Bell, Scottsvalley, CA and Carol Kaylor, OKC; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchilddren. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, 1 grandson and his first wife. Memorial services will be held Monday, March 2, 1992 at 7:00 pm at the Guardian Midtown Chapel. Funeral services will be held at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home in Monticello, IN. 10:30 am Tues., Feb. 25, with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery, Reynolds, IN. GUARDIAN MIDTOWN 1133 N.
