Son of Edward & Albie (Jedlicka) Wachal. Married to Colleen Novacek on 12-29-1952 at St. Mary's Cathoic Church at Schuyler, NE. Survived by his wife Colleen of Schuyler; two sons, Richard D. (Connie) of Schuyler and Gary (Shirley) of Richland ; two daughters, Genelle (Mrs. Roger) Kluck of Schuyler and Renee (Mrs. William) Hancock of Wahoo; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Betty Wachal and Joan Wachal both of Schuyler. He preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Edward R. and Dennis.
