Bio

Funeral services for Ms. Ruthie Lee White were held on Friday, October 30, 2015 in Gravel Hill Baptist Church, Cravens, Reverends Arlen Smith and Jeff James officiated. Interment followed in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cravens. Ms. White, 92, of Pitkin entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in Rosepine Retirement Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, Huel White; her parents, Charlie and Delma Johnson and daughters, Shirley and Wilma White and an infant daughter. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her son and daughter-in-law of Pitkin; her daughter of Pitkin; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren and seven fifth generations. Services were under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
