The Duluth News Tribune Duluth, Minnesota Mon, Jul 29, 1968 · Page Mrs. Sophie Ramstad, 82, formerly of 1820 E. 9th St., died Sunday in a Duluth hospital. Born near Osseo, Wis., to Julius E. Goplin and Sina Maug Goplin. She married in 1909 to Arthur L. Larson. He preceded her in death. After her husband's death she married Sivert H. Ramstad. She had resided in Duluth about 65 years. Mrs. Ramstad was a member of First Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Church Women's Assembly. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Elsie Christiansen and Emma Bergum both of Duluth, MN. Survivors include a nephew, Gilmore Christiansen, of Duluth, MN, a brother Edwin Goplin of Osseo, WI and two sisters Inga Russell of Eau Claire, WI and Julie Fisher of Waseca, MN Burial info The Duluth News Tribune Duluth, Minnesota Wed, Jul 31, 1968 · Page 13
