Ras Berry Robinson Jr. passed from this earth into the arms of Jesus on July 8, 2023. He was 88 years old. Ras was born on March 20, 1935 in Ovett, Mississippi to Ras Berry Robinson Sr. and Irah Olivia Campbell Robinson. He married the love of his life, Beverly Jane Hartsfield Robinson on June 15, 1956. She preceeded Ras in death. Ras was a member of the Air Force and served during the Korean War. He was stationed in the Philippines and attended the University of the Philippines. After the service he attended and graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) with his MBA degree. Geaux Tigers! After graduation, Ras and Bev moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he was the head of Broadman Press publications division. In 1975, he moved his family to Fort Worth, TX to go into full-time Christian ministry. Ras was in ministry until the time of his death (almost 50 years). Ras founded Fullness in Christ Ministries. Together he and Bev traveled the world teaching others about Jesus, leading people into the Spirit-filled life and teaching others how to Live Life to the Fullest. He started "What the Lord is Saying Today" in 2001 where he prophetically heard the Lord for thousands of people with a mailing list of over 12,000 people. He published Fulness magazine/Fullness Magazine Online dedicated to encouraging and equipping fellow Christians, planted Fullness in Christ Church and set up ministries in the Philippines and Peru to educate, feed and give spiritual covering to children who had no means of education. He is preceded in death by his wife Bev, his brother Oral, his sisters: Edna, Mildred, Delphia and Margie. He is preceded in death by his parents and many ministry partners. Ras changed the atmosphere wherever he went. He was a five-fold minister who exemplified the: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. He is known for being one of the fathers of the Non-denominational movement. Many Baptist pastors and congregations stepped into the Spirit-filled life because of him. He was a signs, wonders and miracles man! He ended his legacy with devoting his life to breaking the endemic cycle of poverty for poor children in the Philippines. He and FCM are famous in the Philippines for feeding, educating and spiritually helping children on different islands. The local pastors and the children in the Philippines affectionately call him "Dad Ras". Ras' memorial will be on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 2pm at Fullness in Christ Church, 8895 Random Road, Fort Worth, TX 76179. All are welcome.
