Veenoy Huffaker Veenoy Bruce Huffaker, 77, a native of Shreveport and resident of Houma, died at 3:30 p.m. May 8, 2003. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Chauvin funeral Home in Houma. A religious service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Sarah James Huffaker of Houma; son, Rodney Huffaker, brother, Vernon Huffaker Jr.; sister, Barbara Russell of Shreveport and Rachel Shideler of Magalia, Calif., two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Hansson Huffaker and Versie Green Huffaker.
