Bio
Sharon Ann Rayno Foster passed away in Denton, Texas on Friday, September 12, 2025. She was born in Grand Island, Nebraska to John and Therma Rayno on April 20, 1939. In 1959, she married Dickie Vancil Foster. They moved to Texas in 1970. While she embraced her new Texas home, her Nebraska roots held strong. Sharon retired from TWU after 25 years of service. During her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother Donald Lynn Rayno. Sharon is survived by her daughter Brenda Huffman, her son Steven Foster, granddaughters Melissa Huffman, Amy Huffman Rock (Andy), Sara Hayden (Martin), two great grandchildren and a brother and three sisters. A memorial service will be held at DeBerry Funeral Home at 1:00PM, Friday, October 24, 2025. A reception will be held after the service at the Denton Elks Lodge#2446.
