Bio
Dorotliy Sedlacek, age 101, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 14, 2025. She was born to Bernard and Marie Woslager in Irvington, NE where she was raised with her brother, Dennis. Dorothy married Stanley Sedlacek on September 13, 1947, and lived in Omaha, NE. Together they raised three sons: Ken, Gary and Mark. They were blessed with 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dorothy's legacy will live on for many generations to come. Her long life is a testament to her strength and enduring spirit. She will be remembered with love and gratitude by her family. Dorothy is preceded in death by her mother, Marie Woslager; father, Bernard Woslager; brother, Dennis Woslager; husband, Stanley Sedlacek. She is survived by her children: Ken Sedlacek, Gary Sedlacek and Mark Sedlacek (Janet); grandchildren: Adam Sedlacek (Thao), Juliette Sedlacek, Bethany Banister (Adam), Daniel Sedlacek (Angela), Jordan Sedlacek and Micah Sedlacek; great-grandchildren: Grayson Banister, Logan Banister and Davin Banister. Visitation: Wednesday, September 24, 2025, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., West Center Chapel. Private Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Fremont, Nebraska Memorials are suggested to Step Up To Life.
