{ Obituary - Courtesy of Leatherwood Funeral Home, Brady, Texas } Dorman Daniel "Dan" Jacoby was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 9, 2025, with his family by his side. Dan was born to parents Frank and Lola (Kruse) Jacoby in San Angelo, TX on July 14, 1935. Dan was 90 at the time of his passing. Dan was educated in Eden Public Schools. After graduation he joined the US Army and served two years. When an unfortunate fire broke out in the records building all files were destroyed, so all we have are photos of his time served there. Dan met and married the love of his life Joyce (Turner) Jacoby and to their union were born three sons whom they loved dearly: Dan Jr. of Abilene, Mark and Rocky both of Eden. Dan was a farmer/rancher all his adult life. He was a man of great Catholic faith and beliefs. He loved his family and friends. Dan was known in Eden as "CRAZY DAN'. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers: Chester, Rector and HW; two sisters, May and Fay; a granddaughter Addison, and a grandson Justin. He is survived by his three sons: Dan, Mark and Rocky; four grandchildren: Cason, Dustin, Cannon and Kirsti; four great grand grandchildren: Emmet, Aniya, Jacoby and Daniel; and a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Funeral services for Dorman Daniel (Dan) Jacoby will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11:00AM at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady. Family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service, from 10:00AM until service time. Interment following the service will be held at the Eden Cemetery in Eden, Texas. Pallbearers will be Marvin Morris, Cannon Jacoby, Cason Jacoby, Todd Jacoby, Lain Jacoby, and Dustin Jacoby. Honorary pallbearers will be Sean Jacoby and Beau Jacoby.
