Bio
Wife of Isaac Newton Beasley Elihu M. Ashley married Ann D. Terry in 1845 in MS. Ann died in 1859, leaving Elihu with children Susan E., Emma E., Martha, Silvester Winnie, John, and Jesse. Susan Ashley married Isaac N. Beasley in 1865, and by 1870 her father Elihu had remarried and had additional children with his second wife, Delila Jones. All were still living in Copiah County, MS, in 1870, and Isaac N. and Susan E. Beasley and daughter Sarah M., 2, are listed next to his parents, Lewis and Margaret Beasley. Isaac and Susan Beasley had moved to Texas by 1880, when they are listed in the census in Shelby County, TX.
