Mildred Ann Vrazel December 8, 1941 — September 1, 2025 Danbury Mildred Muenster was born in her family home in Hallettsville, Texas on December 8, 1941. She grew up picking cotton, growing vegetables, and selling their produce & eggs in town. She graduated from Yoakum High School, class of 1960. Mildred married her husband, Edwin Vrazel, in 1962, and they started their own family in Danbury, Texas. They had 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Mildred was known for her servant heart. She volunteered to clean the church each week, she taught catechism for over 20 years, and she worked for many years in private elder care. She grew the biggest, best veggies on her farm, and prepared home cooked meals from scratch every day. She was renowned for making the BEST cream cheese kolaches and pies! She was so proud to share it all with family and friends. Mildred joined the Polka Party in Heaven with Jesus on Monday, September 1, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lillie (Vasek) Muenster, as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Laurine and Milton Krejci. Mildred is also preceded by her husband, Edwin (E.J.) Vrazel. Mildred is survived by her brother, J.D Muenster, and wife Gloria. She will be fondly remembered by her children, Carolyn Vrazel Harmon, John Vrazel and wife, Sandy; Philip Vrazel and wife, Rosario; Anthony Vrazel and wife, Isabella; and Laura Koehler and husband, Justin. Her legacy will continue with her grandchildren, including Austin Harmon; Colby Vrazel and wife, Amanda, along with their children, Eli (E.J.) and Emmy; Brian (B.J.), Leslie, Brittany, and Brinley Vrazel; Maddison and Maverick Vrazel; Maddox and Briles Koehler. Mildred will be missed by many more extended family members, her church friends, and loving caregivers. Special thank you to her private caregiver Mickkeia Price (2017-2019), and her entire care team lead by Kristina Dalshau at K's Place Personal Care Home (2019-2025.) All services will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Danbury, Texas. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, from 5-7pm. with Rosary following. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 6, at 10am, followed by burial at St. Anthony's Cemetery, and lunch to follow. Source: Palms Funeral Home, Angleton, Texas
