Ellen Louise Bobbitt, age 84 of Hardinsburg, passed away on August 28, 2025 at U of L Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born on March 17, 1941 to parents, John Sherman and Juanita Mae (Huff) Robinson. Ellen married Donald Wayne Bobbitt on October 25, 1956. She was a homemaker and devoted wife, she loved entertaining and was an excellent cook. Her faith was central to her life. She loved the Lord deeply and served Him faithfully. She was a deaconess at the Covenant Church in Belvidere, IL. She attended Valeene Wesleyan Church and loved singing in the church choirs. Survivors include her husband, Donald Bobbitt of Hardinsburg; children, Rebecca Sue Atkeson of Hardinsburg, Juanita (Jon) Tyson of Rockford, IL, and Steven Wayne Bobbitt of Hardinsburg; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son- Timothy Wayne Bobbitt; sister- Frances Morrow & in-laws Knofel & Kathryn Bobbitt. The visitation for Ellen Louise Bobbitt will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 11am - 1pm . The funeral will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Bro. David Manship will officiate. The burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery
