Services for Kay L. Sebek Knight, 79, of Temple will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cross Church on Birdcreek in Temple with the Rev. Tim Chaplin officiating, Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery. Mrs. Knight died Friday, Aug. 22, in Temple. She was born June 20, 1946, in Bell County to Jerry Sebek and Florine Sladovnik Sebek. She grew up in the Holland area and graduated from Holland High School in 1964. She attended Temple Junior College. She married Doyle Ray Knight on Dec. 28, 1968. She worked as a ward clerk supervisor at the Olin E. Teague Veterans' Medical Center in Temple for 38 years and retired in 2004. She also worked as an Avon representative for more than 49 years. She also was a homemaker. She was a member of Cross Church on Birdcreek. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include a son, Jason Knight of Belton; a daughter, Lisa O'Kelly of Peoria, Ariz.; a brother, Carl Dillard; a sister, Susan Lentz; and four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cross Church on Birdcreek, 2202 Birdcreek Drive, Temple, TX 76502. Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
