Jerry Dale Peel July 13, 1945 - August 4, 2025 Jerry Dale Peel, 80, of Mars Hill, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025. He was a native of Texas, having lived the last several years in Madison County. Jerry was the son of the late Judge Arnold and Othel Lawson Peel, and is also preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Patman Peel, a son, Michael Edward Peel, and a grandson, Anthony Peel, two sisters, Wynetta Killingsworth and Zona Phillips, and a brother, Arnold Peel. He attended Calvary Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Blue Ridge Funeral Service
